The guidelines for the Silent Waters Villa Terms and Conditions for weddings, receptions and other special events rentals are as follows:
A minimum guaranteed guest count and menu selection should be coordinated two (2) months prior to your event. Final guest counts for all functions must be received fourteen (14) working days prior to the function date.
Weddings, receptions and other one-day special events with no villa rental are welcomed at Silent Waters Villa when dates are available, but are limited to low season and on a Saturday or Sunday. All special events are subject to a $3,000 facility rental fee when a minimum rental of the guest suites is not included. Our facility rental fee includes use of the main garden, main pavilion, main patio and sun terrace, bar, dining room and lighted heliport. This fee is non-refundable unless cancelled prior to 60 days before the event date, in which case it is fully refundable. A set-up fee of $12 per guest (minimum of $600) for the use of linens, tables, chairs and serving stations will apply.
In order to book a one day special event, a facility rental fee in the amount of $3,000 is required promptly to confirm the date. This fee is non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 60 days before the event date. 14 business days prior to the event, a separate invoice will be sent to the client for the event day expenses. This invoice will be payable upon receipt by either wire transfer or credit card (Visa, MasterCard and AMX is accepted). Any and all incidental charges incurred during the event shall be paid that day. All food and beverage shall incur a twenty percent (20%) service charge. All rates quoted, including the $3,000 facility rental fee, are excluding 10% GCT (Jamaican Government Consumption Tax).
Silent Waters does not assume responsibility for damages or loss of any merchandise or articles brought to Silent Waters by the client or their guests. Additional security, as required, will be provided by Silent Waters for an extra charge.
Clients and/or their guests shall assume full responsibility for payment of any damages incurred to the Silent Waters property while setting up, during or departing their event. Full reimbursement shall be the responsibility of the client; whether the client or the Production Company contracted by the client caused the damage. A damage deposit in the amount of $2,000 is required for all special events payable upon arrival at the villa. At this time the client's credit card will be blocked for pre-authorization of the charge. The pre-authorization will be unblocked by the villa within two (2) days after the client's departure assuming that no damage is sustained during the event. In addition, details regarding set-up and breakdown times of outside agents such as a band, DJ, florist, etc., must be submitted to the Property Manager for approval prior to the event.
Any leftover beverages and/or food remain the property of Silent Waters. If the clients are guests staying at Silent Waters, any remaining food and beverages are at their disposal for the duration of their stay.
